Don't think of her as gone away-
her journey's just begun,
life holds so many faucets-
this earth is only one.
Just think of her as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days and years.
Think how she must be wishing
that we could only know today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.
And think of her as living
in the hearts of those she touched...
for nothing loved is ever lost-
and she was loved so much.

Her Journey's Just Begun
Lyla has received her Angel wings
My sweet Lyla left us to be with the Lord tuesday morning. I always knew that this day was lurking, but I had hope that my baby girl would be with us longer. Words can't describe all the emotions that I am going through. I miss my baby girl sooo much already. She blessed us with 172 days of pure miracles and she gave it all she had. My selfish side just wishes her back so badly...I want to hold her, feed her, and just take care of her like I have been these last months. She belongs with us, there's an empty place in my home and heart without her...it's not fair. My faithful side knows that she is now in a better place free of any pain. I don't know how I am going to manage in the days to come without her, but I know that God will give me the strength.
I love you my baby girl!!! We will be in touch.
A Peek Into Heaven
Just one little peek into heaven,
Is all I'm asking for today.
I just want to know how she's doing,
And heaven seems so far away.
Is she playing on the clouds with angels?
Is she laughing and running today?
Does she miss me?
I guess only she knows.
Oh why does heaven seem so far away?
If you just let me look for a moment,
To catch a glimpse of her sweet smiling face,
I promise I won't try to take her,
I know, she's in a better place.
Just one little peek into heaven,
Is all I'm asking for today.
I just want to know how she's doing,
And heaven seems so far away...
